What Is the BatterBee Toolbox?

The BatterBee Toolbox is a collection of small, practical utilities created with bakers in mind.

It's a companion to BatterBee, our baking business management platform, but with a slightly different purpose.

While the main BatterBee application helps home bakers manage their businesses, the Toolbox focuses on smaller, everyday problems.

The sort of things that make you think:

"Surely there's an easier way to work this out?"

Rather than reaching for a calculator, hunting through conversion charts or opening another spreadsheet, the idea is to have a handy place you can visit whenever you need a little help.

And best of all, the Toolbox is free to use.

Why We Built It

When you're running a home baking business, you quickly discover that baking involves a surprising amount of number-crunching.

Ingredient quantities, measurements, recipe adjustments, portions, costs and all sorts of other little calculations can become part of your everyday routine.

And it's not just business owners.

Even somebody baking a cake for a family birthday might encounter the same problems.

We wanted to create something useful for both.

A collection of tools that could take some of the repetitive thinking out of baking, without requiring somebody to sign up for a complete business management system.

Because not everyone needs an entire bakery workspace.

Sometimes, you just need help with one calculation.

Here's something worth emphasising.

You don't need to subscribe to BatterBee to use the Toolbox.

The tools are intended to be useful in their own right.

If you visit the Toolbox, find something that helps with your baking, and never use the main BatterBee application, that's absolutely fine.

We'd rather build something that people genuinely find useful than hide every helpful feature behind a subscription.

That doesn't mean the main application and Toolbox are completely unrelated.

They share the same underlying idea: make baking and the work surrounding it a little less complicated.

But they serve different needs.
